Probably the most controversial man to ever step foot on an NBA court, Dennis Rodman is a man of crazy sayings and antics. Despite his crazy behavior on and off the court, Dennis Rodman never opened his mouth unless he knew that, despite how crazy whatever he said was, he was right about it.
Some famous quotes from Dennis Rodman:
When asked if the Chicago Bulls team chemistry was overrated he replied:
"Chemistry is a class you take in high school or college, where you figure out two plus two is ten, or something."
Basically saying, whether our team chemistry is "overrated" or not, the point is that we mesh well on the court together. Either that or Dennis Rodman has never stepped foot in a chemistry class in his life.
"I see Chris Dudley, Derrick Coleman, Dale Davis, and Anthony Mason making huge money, and I see injustice. Who buys a ticket to see these guys play?"
Answer this question truthfully. I'm sure no one in the entire Bleacher Report community has ever bought a ticket for the sole purpose of seeing Dudley, Coleman, Davis, and Mason play, however they all made more money than Rodman in their careers.
"How much do you really want to win when you have as much money, attention, and fame as Shaquille O'Neal does?"
- B/R Ticket Guide
Does anyone really think that Shaq is still playing for his fifth ring? I highly doubt it. Shaq is definitely at the last stretch in his career, therefore, i'm sure he's playing now just to make as much money as he can.
He doesn't make as much endorsement money, especially off his shoes, because he is not sponsored by Adidas, Nike, etc.
"As long as I play ball, I can get any woman I want."
This is pretty self explanatory. How else do you think he landed Carmen Electra? And then he managed to stay married to her for nine days?!?! That is an amazing feat in my eyes.
"The only person I'm intimidated by is my ex-wife."
After he reportedly received many scars from Carmen Electra in a fight during one of their arguments, I would be afraid of her too. Any woman who can strike fear in the heart of Dennis Rodman must be made the Queen of England immediately.
"Fifty percent of life in the NBA is sex. The other fifty percent is money."
For those playing on the Charlotte Bobcats, why else do you think they remain in the league? Emeka Okafor is certainly not expecting a ring next year, therefore, there is credibility in Rodman's statement above.
"If I die young, everybody's going to say they saw it coming."
I actually wouldn't be surprised if some almighty power from above decided that it was time to strike Dennis Rodman with lightning. Who would be? Everyone would say they saw it coming, so he's right in saying that.
Finally:
"Don't let what other people think decide who you are."
Dennis Rodman basically lives by this mantra. When He stepped on the court, does anyone really think that he was wondering what David Stern, the fans, or even Michael Jordan for that matter cared about him? No.
He dyed his hair crazy colors and made public appearances in dresses. Not the actions of a man who cares how others judge him. So if there is one lesson we could learn from "Dennis the Menace", it's that last quote. Other than that, your opinions on the previous quotes are up to you.
After analyzing quotes from Dennis Rodman, I found that he's smarter than your average hooligan, and he can be quite enlightening. Just kidding about the enlightening part.

Just loved this article so much! At least Rodman didn't add ruffles or sashes to his uniform or wear a bridal gown on the court, although, who knows, he might have started a new trend.

This article is a bit disingenuous. Especially in how you characterize or trivialize Rodman's words. Also, please, go find a picture of the woman he had a child with as a Detroit Piston. I would take her over Carmen Electra, any day.
Last but not least;
go tally up how many million$ Rodman made, in his post-Piston offcourt endeavors, once he realized how much of a *real entertainment package* he was to America. I'm sure your mockery will do an about-face, at that point.

whatever...and with the salaries i meant during his nba career rodman definitely never made as much as these guys until he left the nba and did other things...a lot of people on this site are helpful in critiquing the articles of others and getting feedback, however there are those select few who just come in and rip your article o well nobody should really pay much attention to them
