In what can only be described as the 2nd coming of Stone Cold Steve Austin, WWE Champion Randy Orton has established himself as the Anti-Hero. The Viper has been running rampant over RAW for the past three years, and he is undoubtedly the current Face of the WWE.
Now if you had only been a WWE Fan for the past three or four years, you would have no clue that Randy wasn't always the Vicious Viper that we all know and love.
Before he started punting skulls off, before he was winning WWE Championship, he was the Legend Killer. The Youngest World Champion was put on the map by Triple H and Ric Flair. He was a part of perhaps he most dominant stable of the last decade in Evolution.
Orton had already established himself as a legitimate Superstar, holding the IC Title for almost seven months. Then Orton finally got his opportunity.
He defeated Chris Benoit for the World Title at Summerslam 2004. Though his title reign was short lived, Orton was a certified highlight of the main event.
Fast forward to present day. The Legend Killer is gone, but The Viper is in full effect. Orton has had numerous feuds with John Cena, Triple H, Sheamus, and HBK himself. He's headlined Two Wrestlemania's and is the Current WWE Champion.
Though his gimmick might not be as vicious as it was before, Orton is still a dangerous competitor.
My question to you Bleachers is... Which gimmick was better?? Orton has achieved way more in his Viper gimmick than the Legend Killer, but there must be someone with an honest opinion on the subject.
Like before, please include your reasons why the other is better and make sure you vote on the poll. After all is submitted, and the article has ran it's course, I will announce the more popular gimmick in a comment on the article.
Thanks for you participation Bleachers, be sure to look for the latest.
