Fantasy Hockey Preview: 2008-09 Calgary Flames
We are now about a month away from the start of training camp for the 2008-09 NHL season, and my hockey-crazed brother and I have begun work on our own fantasy hockey magazine, predicting the stats for every player on the starting roster of an NHL team.
We hope we can accurately predict most players' statistics, and we hope to help you with your fantasy hockey teams. A new article will be posted every couple of days at the most, and some teams will come even sooner. We will be doing this in alphabetical order.
2008-09 Projected Lineup
Michael Cammallari-Daymond Langkow-Jarome Iginla
Dustin Boyd-Matthew Lombardi-Todd Bertuzzi
Curtis Glencross-Craig Conroy-David Moss
Eric Nystrom-Wayne Primeau-Rene Bourque
Robyn Regehr-Cory Sarich
Dion Phaneuf-Jim Vandermeer
Adrian Aucoin-Mark Giordano
This guy is one of the hardest workers in the entire league, and is likely to reach the 50-goal mark once again this season.
Watch Out For
He was expected to rebound last year with the Anaheim Ducks, but he played so poorly that he was bought out. Look for him to struggle once again this year.
