Last night's Hell in a Cell match was a brutal one indeed! Edge and the Undertaker took each other to hell and back again and again! From Tables, Ladders and Chairs to steel cage and steps This was one hell of a match! Last night's Hell in a Cell was the first Cell match in years that the hell broke out of the cell! From Taker being speared through the announce table, to Edge being choke slammed off the top of a ladder through the ring itself Taker has made his presents known!

In this columnists opinion, The Cena/Batista match last night should've been one for the ages. With only 2-3 weeks of build up, that's not a whole lot of time to make an intense, emotional, groundbreaking match. This match should've been up there with the Stone Cold/Rock, Warrior/Hogan, Savage/Hogan Hart/Michaels, Triple H/Stone Cold, Triple H/Michaels, Lesnar/Angle feuds. This is one of those things that the WWE could have really done something with but instead made it into just another mid-card match, the match was good, but not great. I give this match 3 of 5 stars.

Now as for World title matches, if you didn't see the outcomes of these matches you must be new to watching wrestling, a kid, or a moron.

Now, I'm a big fan of the gimmick matches (i.e. TLC, Hell in a Cell, First Blood) anything with a stipulation. The Hell in a cell match had me on my toes!Since I've already touched on this subject once already, I'll just give out my rating.. For a Hell in a Cell, I give a 4 of 5 stars. No blood, and going outside of the Cell just to tease of going to the top of the Cell just isn't right in my opinion. But Edge took a good beating and has my respect for that. You could call this match a TLC match inside a Hell in a Cell! Nice touch!

Shawn Michaels came out with his wife to basically continue his storyline with Chris Jericho, you kinda got the hint when Michaels said he was leaving the WWE then Jericho taking a swing at Michaels just to have Michaels duck and having Jericho decking out Michaels wife. Lets see how this one plays out!

So, the only titles to change hands were the IC and Woman's belts (Yawns) NEXT!

The Hardy/MVP match is just to continue they're storyline, something better will happen in the months ahead with this storyline.

Looks like they didn't have enough time to do a Hardy/Henry match considering the Hell in a Cell match later on in the night. Not to worry though, a rematch clause has been signed for this weeks ECW on Sci-Fi!

Note: after the CM Punk's match with JBL last night, Punk did receive stiches to the back of his head.

Well, this concludes this review of last night's Summer Slam PPV I give this PPV 3.5 stars.
