Milan, Inter Set For Off Field Battle For Brazilian Ace Kaka
Goal.com are reporting what has been widely speculated for sometime: AC Milan and city rivals Inter Milan are set to compete against each other for star midfielder Kaka.
In the midst of financial crisis for the red and black, Kaka agreed to leave the club for over $100 million US last summer in a move to the Bernabeu. He has failed to reach the success he found at the San Siro.
The 2007 World Player of the Year would surely welcome a move away from Madrid. He has not played this season as he is suffering from a leg injury. The summer arrival of Mesut Ozil and Angel di Maria makes it even more likely that Kaka will be leaving the club.

New manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly told the club that he has no need for Kaka and would welcome his sale.
In fact, it is Mourinho's relationship with Massimo Morratti that could wind up landing Kaka with Inter.
However, Adriano Galliani and Florentino Perez have a good relationship, and that could give Milan an advantage.
Whoever takes the Brazilian playmaker will have to take his wages, which are about $10 million US.
No official bids have been made, and no move can be made until the winter transfer market opens.
Without bias, AC Milan would be the much more fitting club of the two. Inter have some solid options in the midfield, while Milan have struggled to find a playmaker to replace Kaka since his departure last summer.
Manchester City are also well known to be interested in the Brazilian.
