While Wisconsin holds on to a great a deep running game, as does Michigan State. Edwin Baker slightly leads the team with 57 touches for 449 yards and five touchdowns. This game is among one of the best to watch this weekend.

Keys to the Games

* James White’s play recently for Wisconsin has taken some of the load off John Clay. The junior, NFL-ready running back hasn’t run for less than 118 yards all season. He currently holds on to a total for 501 yards and six touchdowns this season. The team also has steady leadership behind Scott Tolzien; a junior quarterback who’s thrown for 851 yards and five touchdowns so far.

* Michigan State’s Kirk Cousins has had a solid outing for the Spartans so far this season. The 6’3’’ quarterback has passed for 863 yards and six touchdowns. He’s been improving with each game, going 16/20 for 290 yards and two touchdowns in his last game against Northern Colorado.

* Michigan State will be sure to put Wisconsin in pressure to hold on to their deep running game. The team has been known to do well at home, and in their second home game of the season, they hope to upset this strong Wisconsin team. They’ve only allowed opponents to score 14.3 points per game this season.

Look for this to be a down and dirty matchup between these rivals. This is a Big Ten opener for both teams, and they will do anything to remain undefeated during this game. Wisconsin has found another source of power and efficient running in their freshman running back, White. Look for them to mix it up more between him and Clay, and for Wisconsin to quiet down MSU in their own house.
