WWE SummerSlam Predictions/Thoughts.

Well, its that time of year again.  The temperatures are rising outside, and the 20th annual SummerSlam is here.  Here are my predictions/thoughts of this years extravanganza.  (Matches are listed in order I think will be best to worst)

Edge vs. Undertaker (Hell in a Cell)
We've seen how Edge has reacted to this announcement over the last few weeks, but then again, the Undertaker has retribution on his mind.  A Hell in a Cell match is something to look forward to no matter WHO is in it, and these two have had some pretty good matches in the past, and this one should be no different.
WINNER: Undertaker

John Cena vs. Batista
Yes, this won't be a 5-star classic, but then again, it could be a knock down, drag out fight.  These two don't really like each other, and we could see one heck of a brawl.
WINNER: John Cena

MVP vs. Jeff Hardy
I kind of like MVP, I mean, hes' not the best wrestler in the world, but he can entertain me.  Same with Jeff Hardy, so this match could have the makings of a pretty good match.  Jeff Hardy usually has a highlight or two per match, so this one could be pretty good.
WINNER: Jeff Hardy

Mark Henry vs. Matt Hardy (ECW Championship)
I have never been a fan of Mark Henry, so needless to say, I was less than thrilled that he won the ECW Championship in the first place, but on the same page, I think ECW needed him to be champion.  Now that Matt Hardy is on ECW, he no longer needs to be Champ.  I mean, come on, there has to be SOME reason for Hardy to lose the US title so quickly.
WINNER: Matt Hardy

CM Punk vs. JBL (World Championship)
I am a CM Punk fan.  And I am definatey glad he won the World Championship, but I'm not 100% sure how well he can hold up in a SummerSlam PPV match.  SummerSlam is the biggest PPV of the summer, and this match to me just doesn't scream main event.
WINNER: CM Punk (possibly by DQ)

Triple H vs. The Great Khali (WWE Championship)
The Great Khali is in this match.  I HATE the Great Khali.  Even Triple H can't make this match watchable.
WINNER: Triple H

Santino Marella & Beth Phoenix vs. Kofi Kingston & Mickie James (Winner Takes All)
I like everybody in this match, but I don't necessarily know how it will work all together at once.  There is definately alot on the line in this match, but this is likely the opener and will be over in less than 10 minutes.
WINNERS: Kofi Kingston & Mickie James

And of course, you have the big announcement of the future of Shawn Michaels.  My personal opinion he will have Chris Jericho come out to the ring and then announce he will be ok to wrestle in the future and then Superkick Jericho, continuing their feud.  I think the WWE added this to hopefully increase buyrates for the Pay Per View.  Overall, I'm not thinking this is going to be a very good Pay Per View, but thats just my opinion.
