Training camp is less than a month away, and with each approaching day, NHL teams know more and more what their roster will look like—unless you're Cliff Fletcher and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Not only does Mats Sundin not know what his future will be, but there are a lot of other questions that have yet to be answerd in Leaf Land.

Here are some of those questions, along with the probability of what will happen.

Beside each situation you will see a scale from 1-10, 1 being the least likely and 10 being the most likely. (The number that has ( ) around it is the number I have chosen)

1. Mats Sundin will return to the Maple Leafs. - 1 2 3 4 5 (6) 7 8 9 10

4. Ron Wilson will lead the Maple Leafs to the playoffs in the next three years. -

The two about the Maple Leafs making the playoffs will probably spark a lot of debate, thanks to all of the Sens and Habs fans out there.

The reason that the Luke Schenn, Jeff Finger, and Bryan McCabe questions are a 5 is because they are all 50/50 propositions, while the one about the Leafs making the playoffs this season is highly unlikely, because they have just started rebuilding.

Mats Sundin is a 6 because he has been with the Maple Leafs his whole career and says that Toronto is like a second home to Sweden. Matt Stajan would be likely to become captain because he just seems like the perfect choice.

These are all questions that the Maple Leafs need to ask themselves before the season starts. That way they know for sure if they are headed in the right direction.

  1. McCabe will be gone for sure, id make that scale a 2 for that question. Hes going to go join his old bud, wade in florida!

    1. Easy to say now, but this was written before the news about McCabe (probably) agreeing to waive came out.
      Maybe it's because I am a Leaf fan, but I give the Leafs in the playoffs over the next 3 years a 10 for sure.

  2. I agree with G, #4 should definitely be a 10, or at the very least a 9. Also, as Jordan said McCabe staying should now be a 2.

    And while I agree with the rest, they really don't say too much lol.

    1. Im a leaf fan too, but as much as I want them to make the playoffs, they are in a re-building mode, which can sometimes fail. We have sometimes seen teams take upwards of five years to finish re-building.
