hey there b/r, I'm a new writer and it's my first article. I hope you'll like it

As you know, in the past there was a Eastern European big empire named USSR. It included for itself over 14 countries, such as the Ukraine, Georgia,  etc., and it falled in the '90s.

The USSR was a big contestor of all sports—including football.

They are the first European champions of football, and two times runners-up. They've had many talented players, most of all their goalkeepers were best. I'm talking about Lev Yashin, or Valeri Dasaev.

Now it is time to get to real work.  I'll name the current stars of what used to be the USSR.

GK: Igor Akinfeev—CSKA Moscow, Russia

DEF: Kakhaber Kaladze—AC Milan, Georgia

      Sergei Ignasheevich—CSKA Moscow, Russia

      Vasilii Berezutskii—CSKA Moscow, Russia

      Alexandr Anyukov—St. Petersburg Zenit, Russia

MID: Alexandr Hleb—FC Barcelona, Belorusia

       Yuri Zhirkov—CSKA Moscow, Russia

       Yegor Titov—Spartak Moscow, Russia

       Vladimir Bystrov, Russia

ATT: Andriy Arshavin—St. Petersburg Zenit, Russia

       Andriy Shevchenko—Chelsea FC, Ukraine

I hope there's a one hard-to-beat team. And I will be happy to read your ideas of who would've starred for the USSR today.
