What A Day Of Speculation: Micah Richards to Manchester United?

After a day reading paper after paper and internet article after internet article, I thought I'd share the best speculation of the day.

Sir Alex Ferguson is monitering the Manchester City situation with increasing reports of unrest at the club.

Mark Hughes is apparently furious about plans by City to sell star players Vedran Corluka and Stephen Ireland behind his back. If true, and added to City owner Thaksin Shinawatra skipping court dates in his native Thailand, then we appear to have a problem on our hands.

Sir Alex abviously isn't bothered about all that but if his rival's need some money, he'd happily give them £19 million for England defender Micah Richards.

What a kind heart Sir Alex must have.

Kind enough to give Thierry Henry an escape route apparently!

Next on my agenda is Chelsea striker Claudio Pizzaro. The Chelsea failure is wanted by Hull City and River Plate.

Stoke City are also alert to the situation but are interested in a year long loan deal.

Not that it's for me to make your decision Claudio, but I'd choose River Plate to be honest.

Stoke are also interested in 6' 8" tall striker Nikola Zigic. Talk about backing the long ball!
