What A Day Of Speculation: Micah Richards to Manchester United?
After a day reading paper after paper and internet article after internet article, I thought I'd share the best speculation of the day.
Sir Alex Ferguson is monitering the Manchester City situation with increasing reports of unrest at the club.
Mark Hughes is apparently furious about plans by City to sell star players Vedran Corluka and Stephen Ireland behind his back. If true, and added to City owner Thaksin Shinawatra skipping court dates in his native Thailand, then we appear to have a problem on our hands.

Sir Alex abviously isn't bothered about all that but if his rival's need some money, he'd happily give them £19 million for England defender Micah Richards.
WhatĀ a kind heart Sir Alex must have.
Kind enough to give Thierry Henry an escape route apparently!
Next on my agenda is Chelsea striker Claudio Pizzaro. The Chelsea failure is wanted by Hull City and River Plate.
Stoke City are also alert to the situation but are interested in a year long loan deal.
Not that it's for me to make your decision Claudio, but I'd choose River Plate to be honest.
Stoke are also interested inĀ 6' 8" tall striker Nikola Zigic. Talk about backing the long ball!
How did Bolton Wanderers ever cope with that shorty, Kevin Davies?
Scottish giants Rangers are all over the papers today with just about every current player linked away from the club!
Carlos Cuellar to Aston Villa: I really really hope not!
Allan McGregor to Newcastle United: £5 million is a fair price but what about Shay Given?
Kris Boyd to Bayer Leverkusen: A bit better than the usual Championship reports and Rudi Voller says he knows of the player. A glowing appraisal I think not.
Nacho Novo to Hull City: He doesn't want to leave and who can blame him. UEFA Cup final to the championship in one easy lesson or is it hard season?
Middlesbrough don't appear to have taken my advice on Justin Hoyte and are swooping for Maurice Volz of Fulham.
Well, to each their own!
Blackburn Rovers haven't been very successful in the transfer window, but is League One's Kieth Richards the answer?
Yes, if bottom three sounds better than top four.
Didier Drogba has gone full circle and stated he's now happy to play for Chelsea for the rest of hisĀ two year contract.
Yes Didier, we believe you but millions wouldn't.
And if you believe everything out of Chelsea, they're also signing Milan's Kaka before the transfer deadline.
Why did I even bother writing that hogwash?
Arsenal are far more realistic and fancy Gokhan Inlar of Udinese and the greatly named Ruben De La Red from Real Madrid.
Well having said that, it has more of a United ring to it.
The "Kaboul" speculation continues with Portsmouth the new destination. Bad luck Aston Villa, the fans must be gutted!
And I'm really talking about Portsmouth.
Finally, Everton are to give themselves a transfer kick up the behind by signing Alan Smith. Could they really do with a little prod?
