Kyle Busch: Road Course King!
Watkins Glen, NASCAR's last road course of the season, saw a similar outcome, Kyle Busch coming across the finish line in first place.
Today's race saw many ups and downs for various drivers. When the green flag flew, Kyle Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were leading the field into torturous turn number 1 due to the qualifying being rained out.
After only one lap, Dale Earnhardt Jr. passes Kyle Busch to take the lead in his number 88 National Guard Chevrolet. Hendrick Motorsports runs one, two, and three after Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon also get passed Kyle Busch.

Turn one saw MANY cars today lose control. On lap four, David Reutimann spins out, but regains control to keep the race under green. Juan Montoya also drove into turn one too hot and lost his position to Kasey Kahne on lap 12, and on lap 16, P.J. Jones and Patrick Carpentier get together in this turn.
The pits were the place where many people gained, and lost positions. This saw teammates Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart pit together. Dale Earnhardt Jr. was one of the last cars to come down pit road, trying to push his gas mileage, which deams costly as he goes from first, to sixth in the race. This allows Kyle Busch to take the lead.
Mainly the cautions were for debris on lap 48 and on lap 65, however, a 9 car collision happened on lap 83 after David Gilliland is forced into the turn 11 barriers by Michael McDowell. Bobby Labontecollides hard into the side of the number 38 Ford, then run into the back of, he was sent to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

This wreck brought out the red flag for 38 minutes, as the officials tried to clean up the race track and replace the barriers at the end of pit road.
With only 8 laps to go, the caution is brought back out and the field begins to roll again. At lap 6, the green flag is brought out and Kyle Bush Begins his dominance again. 6 laps later, Kyle Busch won the race.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. saw his chance for a win vanish as he was caught on track for the lap 65 caution, after his pit stop, he was put back in 31st position and would not be able to gain many positions.
Martin Truex Jr, and Marcus Ambroseboth had amazing runs today finishing in the top five.
