any person or thing that is or is likely or certain to be very suitable to and successful in an endeavor without much training or difficulty.

Within the past week or so I've had a lot going on, a lot to do and pretty much everything I did felt routine. It would take something unique to stand out during a hectic time like that...and something did.

I was fortunate enough to get to interview Randy 'The Natural' Couture, then just afterwards, his wife Kim. Both were in Hollywood, California for the book signing tour Randy is doing for his new book "Becoming a Natural".

It really only takes a matter of seconds, once you begin to interact with this icon of MMA, to realize how grounded and good natured he truly is.

His story, as conveyed in his book, is a compelling one, showing stages of his life and what lessons came from each stage. During our interview, he also touched upon a little of what his current challenges mean to him. This is sincerely a man who is grateful for all of his good fortune as well as for the explosive growth of a sport that propeled him to the popularity he now entertains.

Looking back I can honestly say that whether it's through fame, infamy or a combination of both, which seems to be the case for Randy Couture, there is no downside to his becoming a spokesman and figurehead for the sport of MMA.

He is everything people say they want in a star athlete and role model. Seeing his career continue to spread out in a multitude of directions, such as film, TV and more you would have to be insane to be jealous or disturbed by it.

We know Randy Couture has earned all of his success, but it sure does seem to fit the man so well that it kind of seems...well you know.
