Favre to the Jets, Are you kidding me
I'm glad it's over. Now, Sportscenter can leave the Brett Favre story in the past.
But seriously, Green Bay management WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? The man has played 16 seasons for you and during those 16 season's has led you to 10 more playoff appearances and 1 more Super Bowl than the 16 seasons before he arrived.
Show the man some respect. So, he wasn't ready to make up his mind in June, let him decide to come back on his terms.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I understand you want to move on to a new era in Packer football, but if the greatest QB in NFL history wants to return how can you possibly say that he will be the back-up in Cheese land.
And behind an unproven Aaron Rodgers no less. Maybe this trade is best for both sides. Favre was upset at management and the management did not want him to return. They offered him $20 million to stay retired, who wants a future hall of famer to stay away that badly
Green Bay is going to be mediocre this season at best, while the Jets may actually be able to compete for the AFC East title this season.
And what do the Packers get out of it, well that hasnt been decided, but for now its a 2009 fourth round pick. It all depends on what Brett Favre does in the Big Apple.
If Brett Favre...
plays 50% of the snaps this season then it becomes a third rounder
plays 70% of the snaps this season and the Jets make the playoffs its a second rounder
plays 80% of the snaps and the Jets make the Super Bowl then it becomes a first rounder
is traded to the Minnesota Vikings then the Packers get three of the Jets future first round picks.
So in this sense Packer management is genius. How many other trades do you know of where a team gets more based on how the player they traded does.
But still, no draft pick is worth losing Brett Favre even if it is a first rounder.
Aaron Rodgers, good luck with the fans this year because no matter what they will still love Brett Favre and you will never be able to live up to his reputation in Green Bay.
To the Packer management, what have you been thinking the last couple of days? How could you even consider getting rid of Favre? He is the best thing to happen to your franchise since the cheese hat.
Can't wait to be able to see people say "I told you so" to Ted Thompson and company at the end of this season.
