Cincy Bengals All-Time Bust Team

Here they come, walking down the street. They should get the funniest looks from everyone they meet since they are the Cincy Bengal busts:

Offensive

QB Akili Smith (alias Suckili Stiff)

He gets the nod over Jack "The Overthrowin' Samoan" Thompson and David "Klunker" Klingler since Suckili was a #3 pick in 1999 versus Klunker at #6 in 1992. Also, Mikey Boy Brown loved Suckili so much as to turn down the trade offer of New Orleans entire draft and a 1st-round pick the next year to draft him. Also, although Thompson was also a #3 overall in 1979, the Bengals traded him to Tampa Bay for what became the #1 overall pick in 1984.

RB

Ki-Jana "Pa-Jama" Carter (He was a #1 pick overall in 1995 which is roughly the number of games he played for the Bengals.)

Archie Griffin (Only two-time Heisman Trophy winner rarely played for the Bengals)

WR

Peter Warrick (#4 pick overall in 2000 demonstrated innate ability to fall down after catching the ball if he caught it)

Tim McGee (1st round pick in 1986 had one good season but average at best otherwise)

TE Mike Cobb (1st round pick in 1977 had no catches for his one season with the Bengals and just 134 in four seasons for the Bears)

C Dave Rimington (Two-time Outland winner and 1st round pick in 1983 stunk)

G Freddie Childress (2nd round pick in 1989 so bad he was released in 1989 preseason)

T Brian Blados (1st round pick in 1984 so bad he was replaced by 8th round pick Joe Walter at RT)

PK Neil Rackers (6th round pick in 2000 never produced anything but whines for the Bengals)

KR David Verser (#10 pick overall as WR but only had 23 receptions for career and had fumble before end of half on kickoff in Super Bowl XVI)

Defenseless

RE Jason Buck (1st round pick in 1987 had 19 sacks for his career)

DT Dan "Big Duddy" Wilkinson (#1 overall in 1994 had ego of #1 pick overall but not production)

DT Wilson Whitley (#8 overall in 1978 had six average seasons for Bengals)

DE Glen Collins (1st round pick in 1982 had only 9 sacks in four Bengals seasons and 11 overall)

OLB Emanuel King (1st round pick in 1985 lasted just five seasons)

ILB Joe Kelly (1st round pick in 1986 traded to Jets prior to 1990 season)

OLB Reinard Wilson (#14 pick overall had at best six average season for Bengals)

CB Lewis Billups (2nd round pick in 1986 dropped sure INT in Super Bowl XXIII, deserves special place in H-E-Double Hockey Sticks)

CB Rickey Dixon (#5 overall in 1988 couldn't cover someone if they were comatose on a bed)

FS Charles Fisher (2nd round pick in 1999 lasted one season)

SS Mark Roman (2nd round pick in 2000 only played four seasons for Bengals before being released)
