EPL Transfer Window Headlines: Gyan, Robinho, Gudjohnsen, Van Der Vaart?

The Premier League transfer window slammed shut at 6 p.m. UK time, but there is still some unfinished business in the form of Rafael van der Vaart's rumored move to Tottenham. Reports have the Dutch midfielder at Spurs' headquarters, but there is still no word if a deal has been squeezed through.

What we do know is this. Asamoah Gyan has joined Sunderland, Robinho has left Manchester City to join Ronaldinho at AC Milan, Alexander Hleb has gone on loan to Birmingham, Paul Konchesky has followed Roy Hodgson from Fulham to Liverpool and Stoke have brought in Eidur Gudjohnsen and Jermaine Pennant.

Sunderland Break Club Record To Sign Gyan

Sunderland have paid in excess of £13 million to sign Ghana's World Cup star Asamoah Gyan from Ligue 1 side Rennes.

Robinho Joins Ronaldinho at AC Milan

Brazilian midfielder Robinho exits Manchester City to join AC Milan on a four-year deal, thought to be worth £18 million.

Stoke Capture Gudjohnsen and Pennant

Former Chelsea and Tottenham star Eidur Gudjohnsen joins Stoke on a one-year loan deal from Monaco, after turning down Fulham.

Stoke also bag former Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant, on a one-year deal from Real Zaragoza.

Hodgson Returns to Craven Cottage for Konchesky

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson raided his former club Fulham to sign left-back Paul Konchesky,

Birmingham Sign Hleb, Beausejour, and Jiranek

Birmingham were busy today, signing Chile international Jean Beausejour from Club America, Spartak Moscow defender Martin Jiranek, and former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb from Barcelona on a season-long loan.

Van Der Vaart to Spurs?

As 6 p.m. approached, the big story was a possible Spurs deal for Real Madrid's Rafael van der Vaart. Some reports were suggesting the Dutch midfielder was at Spurs headquarters agreeing to terms. We'll find out soon enough if it happens.
