Open Mic: The All Time Seattle Mariners Ball Club
This article is for the sole purpose of creating the Seattle Mariners an all time team. It's hard to pick an all time team with the Mariners.
I'll pick Safeco Field for this all team.
So, we start out with the outfield, in right field to be exact, and there is no other player that could even possibly contend with Ichiro for the all time right fielder spot.

Ichiro holds the major league record for most hits in a single season. He will be a hall-of-famer someday.
Center Field, again unanimous: Ken Griffey Jr. did so, much for this ball club when things were bad.
Left Field is hard.
There is Raul Ibรกรฑez, who was a Mariner, then a Royal, now a Mariner again.
He has been the best thing Mariners can agree on besides Ichiro and Felix in recent years. He has led the team in HR and RBI's many times.
There is also Mark McLemore, who played left field when the Mariners won 116 games.
Of course, he was a utility player.
Then, and I am not sure if he played left field, but there is Mariner great Jay Buhner.
I think the choice becomes easier when you include Buhner.
Buhner it is!
Now for third base: Unanimous Edgar Martinez
Second Base: Harold Reynolds
First Base: I cannot decide between Tino Martinez and Jon Olerud.
Shortstop: I hate to say it butโ pay rod.
Catcher: Dan Wilson, no question
Pitchers: Felix, Jamie Moyer, the Big Unit, Freddie Garcia, Kaz Sasaki, Shigetoshi Hasegawa, JJ Putz
There it is. I cranked it out.
