With the recent release of the action blockbuster "The Expendables", Randy Couture is the latest Mixed Martial Artist to make it to the big screen.

This is just another sign of the times that MMA is growing exponentially when it comes to mainstream acceptance.

With that said, Bleacher Report has 10 fighters who should be considered  by Hollywood producers as the next bankable star.

Honorable Mention - Gina Carano

The face of Women's MMA would have easily been on this list as a full member, but alas her sheer hotness has actually gotten her a role in a major motion picture called Haywire, which is being directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Frankly, there is never not a good reason to place Gina on any list.

I think the picture says it all....

Chuck Liddell

Chuck Liddell has the status of being a pure tough guy.

We’ve already seen him on the show Entourage, so it's not hard to imagine him throwing down on the big screen.

Initial Ideal First Major Roles:
Coach of a High School Wrestling Team
Boxer

Todd Duffee

Todd Duffie is like a modern-day Ivan Drago.

He’s big, strong, and has impressive athleticism for someone of his size. He would be a perfect fit to play in an athletic drama.

Initial Ideal First Major Roles:
Football or Rugby Player

Forrest Griffin

His Average Joe demeanor is a key selling point for Hollywood producers.

It’s pretty easy to imagine him going the opposite route and playing a bad guy in his first major role, since he’s got the size and look that can be pretty believable as an evil crime thug.

Initial Ideal First Major Roles:
Boston Thug (Think "The Departed")

Miesha Tate
