Comparing the results between teams with and without Favre, the Minnesota Vikings stand to gain the most with Favre as the starter, while the New York Jets will miss the playoffs without him.
Brett Favre is currently a playable character in Madden NFL 09, on the “NFL Greats” roster. In Franchise Mode, players can transfer Favre to the free agent roster pool, and pick him up on any of the 32 NFL teams for the 2008 season.

What I find interesting is that the Packers are actually *worse* off if the bring back Brett. Now, Im not sure what the statistics are for the post season, but personally I would be against Green Bay bringing Brett back for the sole reason of watching the Divisional Playoff game against the Bucs.
