Summerslam has provided countless years of entertainment throughout the years......... In this article i intend to run through the last 10 main event, and rate each one individually.
For me personally this was a bore match, with an obvious result. While I found the pay per view to be very entertaining on the whole, I think this was a very wear main event
For me personally this match happened way to much before Summerslam and it happened even more after this pay per view. Summerslam 2007 was a weak pay per view and in my opinion this main event more than confirms this.
The only thing which saves this pay per view from being last is the fact that it was icon vs icon. It was a very slow paced match and Michaels oversold each of Hogan's moves. In my opinion this was a very big letdown
This was a great Summerslam. Apart from the Rocks return, it was a huge event. The main event surpassed all expectations and ended up being a great match between two future Hall of famers
While many people criticize Chris Benoit, nobody can criticize this match. Benoit did a great job in putting Randy Orton over in this match. The shock element of this match is certainly one of the reasons for this match's high rating.
For me thos was a great match and the thing that made it even more speacial was the fact it was only the 2nd elimination chamber. In my opinion it was a good main event for a solid pay per view
This was a huge main event for the WWE. The Rock was a symbol for the attitude era and by having Lesnar win cleanly proved that WWE was moving on from this stage. The passing of the torch only made this great match even better.
This match had everything. A huge match gimmick. a popular rivalry and more than all a match which produced huge pops. This was a dream match on paper and it proved to be this in reality aswell
This match had a solid story in the build up. However, the match itself far outwighed the build up. I really enjoyed this match and it certainly deserve its spot as number 2 on my list.
This match up was by far the most entertaining main event in recent Summerslam history. To add to its importance it was Jeff Hardy's last pay per view appearance in WWE.
