Looking for Havoc “The Irish Bomber” Goes Old School

Unbeaten light heavyweight prospect Joe “The Irish Bomber” Smith Jr. is going old school taking his perfect record of 6-0, (six knockouts) back into the ring just 11 days after stopping Charles Wade last week on a Broadway boxing card at BB Kings.

Smith will be taking on Lawrence, Massachusetts rough and ready power puncher Eddie “Thunder” Caminero. Trained by “Irish” Micky Ward, Caminero, 6-3 is coming in fresh off a second round stoppage of Quincy, Massachusetts Chris Traietti, (8-2, five knockouts). 

Smith from Mastic/ Shirley New York is trained by former Long Island light heavyweight standouts Gerry and Phil Capobianco who were known to go old school themselves. Brothers Capobianco together with Chris Cardona have developed “The Bomber” into a patient boxer puncher reminiscent of Bob Foster.

Come see Smith on a full card promoted by Havoc Boxing which is showcasing Panama’s super bantamweight Mauricio “Nañara/Cry Baby” Martinez (35-9-1, 23 knockouts) vs Colombian Reynaldo Lopez (30-8-3, 21 knockouts).

Looking to add to the Havoc unbeaten Perth, Western Australia southpaw super middleweight Lennox “Too Sharp”Allen, (12-0, seven knockouts) will be squaring off with Atlanta, Georgia’s Darnell Boone (17-15-2, seven knockouts).

Staten Island New York featherweight Gary Stark Jr. (22-3, eight knockouts) takes on Panama’s upset minded Leopoldo “El Tiburon” Arrocha (10-12-2, six knockouts).

Brooklyn light middleweight Sadam “World Kid”Ali a New York Junior Olympic National Champion, a PAL National Champion, a U-19 National Champion, two-time New York City Golden Glove Champion and 2008 Olympian 8-0, 4Ko’s fresh off his July 16th third round destruction of Philadelphia’s “Marvelous Julias Edmonds vs TBA and unbeaten super middleweight Lennox Allen (12-0, seven knockouts) facing "Atlanta", Georgia’s Darnell Boone, 7-15-2, 7Ko’s.

The undercard also features local favorites Christian Martinez, Joselito Collado, Mike Ruiz, Michael "Lefty” Brooks and Andy Mejias.
