Brett Favre Saga: Official Reinstatement Letter

Dear Mr. Goodell,

I would like to be reinstated to the NFL.  I know I'm old and I have caused alot of ruckus within the Packers orginization....Hell, I've made a big ruckus around the league. Even though I said it was "BS" about McCarthy trying to protect my legacy, got the Vikings in trouble because I've been talking to them, I didn't mean to cause so much trouble. 

I just want to play football and throw more interception's (I kinda like trying to tackle the guy that picked me off, it's quite fun).  And really, the reason why I kept calling the Vikings orginization was because Adrian Peterson's mother makes a great beef stew, and I was just trying to get the recipe to it.  Really I was. 

I know I've pulled this "retirement" game on every body about 3 time's already, but I WAS JUST JOKING this time around, seem's to me like nobody got the memo. Everybody think's I was serious about retiring?, what would make you think that?. I mean, I wasn't serious about it before, why should I be now? Right?.  Well I did sorta make it believable with all those tears I had running down my face, I really fooled you guys this time. :)

So how was the trip to Iraq with Drew Brees and Osi Umenyiora?, Musta been hot huh?.  It's a good thing you didn't take any cheerleaders, because you would have had to buy a bunch of sheets to put over their faces. 

Well, I'm getting a little off subject here, but please don't make me play for the Packers.  Make something work so I can play for another ball club, and I heard Jeff Garcia was saying he was ready to "battle" me for the No.1 QB position in Tampa Bay.  I dont like that, I own every record in the book.  I should be the starter anywhere. 

Well hey, please help me out in this situation.  I'd really appreciate it. Thank you Mr. Goodell.
