TNA's Hardcore Justice: Stop The Violence!

Alright, every time I try to stop writing about TNA, every time I tell myself "Okay, let's move on", TNA drags me right back in.  If I don't talk about this Hardcore Justice thing my head is going to explode.  I know a lot of people are talking about this, but I need to talk about this.  I don't really write about WWE because there are many others that are doing that.  I write about TNA because there is so much to talk about, and this is just another thing on the list for TNA.  Even though everyone is talking about the PPV, these are MY thoughts.

Dixie Carter, Let me start off by saying I am a TNA fan.  I have defended you guys for a long time now and have watched your programs, even during the worst of times.  But, I can honestly say, I HOPE YOUR NEXT PPV GET'S THE WORST BUY RATES EVER IN THE HISTORY OF TNA!.

This is THE single stupidest idea you have brought to the table.  I can't understand how this is even possible.  Look, if this is a swerve of sorts, then hey, you fooled me, and I congratulate you.  But, I don't think it is, and with that I will begin.

In case you have been stuck under a rock or basically turn off the wrestling world to focus solely on WWE, TNA is having an ECW type invasion on their program.  Their upcoming PPV, which is normally called Hard Justice is now to be called Hardcore Justice: One Last Stand.  Yeah, I know, it reeks of desperation.  They have placed out commercials in areas already promoting this as basically an "All ECW" PPV.

They have called and acquired several ECW wrestlers in the hopes of recreating a classic ECW PPV.  The headline being RVD vs Jerry Lynn.  RVD will not be defending the World Title.  It makes sense.  Why would you have a World Title match at your PPV? That's a dumb idea (Sarcasm at its finest).  To be honest, these two can still go and I personally would like to see that match.  ONLY THAT MATCH.

The names rumored to having accepted the appearance are of course 3D, Taz, Dreamer, Rhino, Richards, Raven, Simon Diamond, Al Snow, and of course Mick Foley, as they are already part of the TNA team.  The others rumored, or acquired are Jerry Lynn, Sandman, New Jack, Justin Credible, Shane Douglas, Sabu, Balls Mahoney, Brother Runt, Johnny Swinger, and who knows who else jumps on after this article posts.  Basically anybody who needs free money to do absolutely nothing in the ring.  Hey Dixie, if you're giving away free money, I can put on an I LOVE ECW shirt and you can plant me in the audience.

Let me start off from scratch here, and I don't mean saying that this has been done before and blah blah blah.  That is like beating a dead horse, because everyone and their mother has said this already.  What I want to say, is that in the early days of TNA, basically half of these guys worked for the company.  Almost everyone.

So what does that mean?  That means that these wrestlers were apart of the this company and some of them weren't "over" then, so what makes them "over" years later? What makes them "over" now that they are further away from their glory days.  This also means that the company let these individuals go at some point.  So how were you, Dixie, ever convinced that these guys are good for your product now?  Wow, when you hit bottom, you really will do anything.

Secondly, based on Prowrestling.net, the rumored pay scale for some of these guys are $500-$1000 per appearance.  REALLY?  In case you don't know this, most of TNA's current talent get paid per appearance as well.  So, your telling me that a Knockout like Awesome Kong who WAS with the company for years was receiving the same pay scale as NEW JACK!?  Your telling me that Amazing Red ( and I know TNA isn't paying him a lot) is making almost the same per appearance pay as BALLS MAHONEY!? WOW.  Dixie, Terry Taylor is really pulling a number on you.

Some of the ECW talent are even demanding full contracts from TNA, if they do this PPV.  I don't blame them, hell, they might get it.

Thirdly, I like Tommy Dreamer.  They say he is a great mind backstage and could be a great agent in the business.  They say he is a good presence in the locker room and he was a good wrestler, WAS.  I don't blame Tommy for telling Dixie Hey, let me get on the phones and call up the guys.  Let me get this thing rolling.

But, it has been REPORTED by Pwinsider.com that the idea to make the TNA PPV an "ECW" themed event happened at the Monday tapings.  There was a planned direction for the ECW crew, BUT, they, along with Tommy Dreamer, pitched a new direction which Dixie Carter approved.  Carter also signed off on Dreamer running the show, which at this time is planned to be a "one off" ECW show.  Many are impressed with how much trust Dreamer has been given by management.

Well, wow, is all I can say for that.  Tommy Dreamer (who's been with this company, mind you, as long as it takes you to read this article) and a couple of ECW guys pitch an idea to Dixie Carter and she approves it, just like that.  Do you know how many reports I have read, where Daniels, AJ, and Joe, the three top guys in the company have disliked or passed an idea to Dixie Carter, and never got a response that quick.

Do you think Joe stood back and said "Yeah, I'll paint a bicycle tire tattoo on my face, and like it"?  No, I'm sure he said something about it.  But we still saw Joe with that stupid tattoo on his face week in and week out.

Also, how many times has Dixie defended Russo and his writing?  So what does that mean?  Does that mean that she doesn't trust his story telling, to change the plans that quickly?  Or, does it mean she has her back against the wall, because they are suffering, and needs to put her foot down and make the decisions to garner some kind of boost?  I'll go with the last one.

Whewww, okay, lastly I have a problem with the "All ECW PPV".  Are you telling me, IF they go through with this, that no TNA talent will be on this card?  That the talent that is a part of TNA is not going to be in a TNA PPV?  That good talent like MCMG, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, The Pope, Anderson, Kurt Angle, Desmond Wolfe, and others will be missed at this PPV? Is that what you're telling me?

THEN WHAT THE F$#% AM I WATCHING YOUR PROGRAM FOR!?  WHY AM I WASTING MY TIME, GOING INTO YOUR STORYLINES, WATCHING YOUR IMPACT SHOWS, TO NOT SEE ANY OF THE TALENT ON THE CARD!?  WHY WOULD I GIVE TWO SH#%S ABOUT SIMON DIAMOND AND JOHNNY SWINGER, WHEN YOU BUILDING THE MCMG THROUGH A GREAT FEUD WITH BEER MONEY!?  WHY WOULD I WASTE MY TIME WATCHING A PPV WITH NO BUILD TO ANY OF THEIR MATCHES!?

Man, I am angry sounding, lol.  Calm down dude, lol.  It's only wrestling.

Well, anyway, that is why I am hoping upon hope that they set this off right.  Swerve the audience please.  Do not have this an "All ECW" PPV.  Have TNA talent destroy these dudes.  Have Abyss' THEY come out and do a real invasion.  TNA, please make us all look stupid in the end for hating this.  Show us that you have more sense then that, and don't make this moment,  the finger poke of doom moment, for TNA.

Thanks for the read folks. I have also posted an article on how Abyss' THEY might be ROH.  If you haven't checked it out, do so, it might be a good read, but what do I know.  I will also be throwing out another "Who are Abyss' THEY? coming soon.  You can check my articles here.
