UFC light heavyweight Jon "Bones" Jones is less than two weeks away from stepping back into the Octagon for the first time since his March knockout of Brandon Vera. ESPN brought the Endicott native into their studio to preview his upcoming Aug. 1 matchup with Vladamir Matyushenko. Jones also spoke about his athletic brothers, former Syracuse defensive tackle Arthur and current Syracuse defensive end Chandler.
Fellow UFC roster occupants Rashad Evans and Stephan Bonnar sat in on the program and spoke with Jones. Evans is a former wrestling champion at Niagara County Community College. Bonnar faced Jones at UFC 94, losing by unanimous decision. You can read more about Evans and Jones by clicking the "Upstate NY MMA Fighters" tab in the top menu bar.
