Monday's high-mountain Stage 15 of the 2010 Tour de France will take the riders 116.5 miles from Pamiers to Bagnères-de-Luchon.

The second day in the Pyrenees could be a big one as Andy Schleck of Luxembourg, the current holder of the yellow jersey, hopes to maintain his narrow 31-second lead on defending champion Alberto Contador of Spain.

Though he remained well behind the leaders entering Stage 15, seven-time champion Lance Armstrong is reportedly aiming for a stage win before Sunday's finale in Paris.

According to RadioShack boss Johan Bruyneel, Armstrong is intentionally saving energy to prepare for a big push sometime this week.

“That’s definitely on purpose,” Bruyneel told The Associated Press before Sunday's 14th Stage. “Now that he’s not in contention for the general classification anymore, you try to save strength.

“And one of these days he may try to get in the breakaway—and he needs all the freshness he has to try to win a stage.”

Stage 15 coverage runs live Monday from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. ET.
