WWE RAW Preview: Lights, Camera, Mayhem
Let's just spare the buildup and get right to it. RAW is tonight and there's too many things going on to start it off with some cheesy promo. So let's get right to it.
Titles in Jeopardy?
Last week, Kofi Kingston and Mickie James lost a hard-fought battle with The Burchills. This week, we're expecting to see the brother-sister duo make it clear that they want the gold that their adversaries possess.

Asuka Addresses Retirement Talk, More Buzz š
With less than a month left until Summerslam, are Kofi and Mickie's title reigns in serious jeopardy? Or are the outspoken loudmouths from London biting off more than their Doberman mouths can chew?
If We Desire It, We'll Acquire It
Since winning the World Tag Team Championships at Night of Champions, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase (aka Team Priceless) have made it clear that they're the absolute best wrestlers in the business today. But there is a good chance that they didn't expect the arrival of a dominant tag team that is good at making a good "steal".
Thanks to their part in the rivalry of JBL and John Cena, Team Priceless found a new set of contenders in the form of Shad and JTG (aka Cryme Tyme).
While their captains were beating the hell out of each other, these four men have been going at it back and forth. It's obvious that these two teams are set for a collision course in the future. But with Summerslam on the horizon, will they meet for the gold at the Biggest Blockbuster of the Summer?
Love Isn't Blind...It's Retarded
The story of Santino is complicated. But it's only complicated because no one understands what he's saying. But apparently, someone is feeling what he's spitting through that Italian drawl. Last week, Santino and The Glamazon shared a very confusing moment in the ring.
Like high school romances, the two picked on each other two weeks ago...and then last week, they shared a quick kiss after Santino's loss to the returning D'Lo Brown. One of them will have to tell us what the story is...and hopefully tonight, they will. Sorry. I just threw up in my mouth a little. Speaking of regurgitating circumstances...
A Noble Act Goes Unrewarded
Ever since being drafted to RAW, Jamie Noble has been trying to find himself a new main squeeze to share his short spotlight with. But it always seems to go in a different manner for the Southerner. So far, the Pit Bull has been left decimated by Kane and Snitsky, not to mention a brief encounter with an uncaged Animal last week.
With his infatuation with Layla obvious, how will he try to impress her tonight? And will he finally earn the accolades (as well as the affection) of the former Diva Search winner?
Every Blockbuster Needs a Twist
Ever since winning the World Heavyweight Championship, CM Punk has had a bullseye on his back. From JBL, to Batista, to Kane, Punk has been out to prove that he does deserve to be champion. But the biggest issue he has had is that when he's out to prove his worth, there's always someone else that is trying to steal his thunder.
For the past few weeks, JBL has made it clear that he is the only superstar worthy of wearing the World Heavyweight Championship. And that there is nothing and no one that can change that.
After costing Batista last Monday night, and possibly starting a war between the Animal and John Cena, what will JBL do tonight to further abuse his power? And what will Batista and Cena do when RAW goes live tonight?
If Money Talks, This Guy's Great at Dinner Parties.
Despite continuous pleas from Stephanie McMahon, the superstars of RAW have continued their anarchy-filled broadcasts. From announcers getting assaulted to superstars trying to eliminate their competition, RAW has been the official home for the Symphony of Destruction.
But tonight, the asylum welcomes back a former inmate of its domicile.
It's been a long time since Shane McMahon was on RAW. Tonight, the son of The Boss is looking to put things back to normal after a tumultuous month of WWE action on the flagship show.
Shane made it clear that if things didn't change, there would be serious consequences on the horizon. After no change has come to pass since his stern warning, the jumping jiving daredevil comes to RAW tonight.
What will the Chairman's son have to say about the anarchy that has filled the show since his dad's accident? Will he announce the new GM of RAW? Will he add to the mayhem that has plagued the show over the past month?
All of these questions will hopefully be answered when RAW goes live in The Animal's original kingdom of Washington, D.C. tonight at 9/8C on USA!
