A Couple Great NFL Fantasy Football News Sources

Corey KoehlerSenior Analyst IJuly 27, 2008

As I was doing my daily browse through all the NFL and fantasy football info in my reader and email, I was thinking about how great it was to such great resources. Then it hit me, why not share a few of my all time favorites with you so you can make them a part of your daily reading. So here goes.

FFMastermind quick bits - This has been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. It is basically just a mash-up of all the NFL news from top news sources around the league.

FootballGuy’s free newsletter - I have been getting this newsletter since I have been on the internet - which has been about 10 years now (damn I’m getting old). Joe Bryant has been doing fantasy football news and insight forever and is pretty much a legend in the field. It is a treat to read this newsletter this time of year.

ProFootballTalk Rumour Mill - Not necessarily fantasy football but great none the less. You can pick up some nice little nuggets of info by plugging this feed into you browser. Not only do you get the news but also some intelligent and witty commentary from the writers. Good stuff.

Also, check out the latest FFGeeksBlog Quick Tip which makes finding a boat load of the latest player information a little faster. I have been playing with this for a few days and it is pretty handy.

If this isn’t enough info for you, you can find plenty more by going through my Bloggers Blitz series. I have been documenting all kinds of handy sites and insightful blogs in that series of posts.

And if you are looking for a good way to put all these resources in one central location - so you are not spending time looking through bookmarks, or worse, typing in website addresses - build yourself a reader or make an iGoogle home page. If you don’t know what the hell I’m talking about, check out this fantasy football video series I did last year showing you how to do just that.

Anyway, that should do it for today. Go check out those sites and see what you think.

In case you didn’t know, subscribing to the Goat is at the all time low price of free. You can subscribe to The Fantasy Football Goat by email and have this stuff in your inbox seconds after I post it or you can subscribe in your feed reader or on your home page. Either way you get the info fast and easy. Don’t understand this whole subscribing thing? Check out this short video on RSS. Isn’t technology great?
