Could It Be The Rock Vs John Cena at Summerslam?

Icon vs icon, present vs past, The Rock vs John Cena at Summerslam 2010. Now i know what your thinking and before you click off the article, let me explain why this match could in fact happen at the biggest event of the summer.

Now at the momment the WWE is running the Nexus angle which involves season 1 rookies form NXT. And as most of you have figured out this group is likely being told what to do by someone who is in connection with the WWE.

This is where The rock comes into it. Monday night Raw Currently has an anonymous general manager who is showing heel like qualitys and doing most things in favour of Nexus.

The Rock is the man i believe to be the anonymous general manager and is also the man i believe to behind Nexus and there attacks.

Many of you may not agree but hear me out. This Summer The Rock is set for a return for a few months and has stated that he wants to do something big for the fans and rip up the scripts. And with the Nexus angle being the biggest angle going this summer, it makes it more apparant that The Rock is behind it.

And now we have The Rock vs John Cena at Summerslam. Who is the man Nexus has attacked and singled out each week ? who is the man they cost the WWE title ? well if you do not know by now, the man i speak of is John Cena.

This is a match that the WWE has been wanting to have for a while and this storyline sets it up perfectly. When The Rock does make his return he would be revealed as the General manager and would call out Cena.

He would then tell Cena that he was going to punish Nexus for there actions and would call them out. With Cena thinking The Rock is on his side, The Rock could then hit Cena with The Rock bottom and Nexus could do what they usual do and beat up on him some more.

With the Rock being the man who was behind all this, Cena can challenge The Rock to a match at Summerslam which he would eventually accept.

Now i know The Rock has stated that he would not get back in the ring again but how can he not accept a match that the fans ae pushing for him to have. This would be the big thing he promised us and the build up would be fantastic.
