Can Vince Young Rebound?

Bleacher Report Senior Writer IJuly 26, 2008

Tennessee Titans quarterback, Vince Young, has had a very illustrious first two years of an NFL career.

In his first season, his numbers weren't great.

He was 184-357 with 2199 yards, 12 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

Despite that, Young carried the underdog Titans to an 8-8 record and Young won rookie of the year and made a Pro Bowl appearance and was on the cover of Madden 2008.

However, last year, Young was very bad.

He was 238-382 with 2546 yards, nine touchdowns and 16 INT despite carrying the Titans to a 10-6 record and a playoff appearance.

Can Young have good numbers and take Tennessee to a playoff appearance?

Possibly.

Is Young one of the best leaders in the NFL?

Yes.

This is true, because before Young, the Titans were one of the worst teams in the NFL.

Since drafting Young, they are 18-14 and have made one playoff appearance.

Young struggled in the playoff game against the Chargers, with fewer than 200 yards and no touchdowns with one interception.

Young doesn't have the best arm, but dominated at the University of Texas.

He won the BCS Championship as a junior, but has yet to show that arm in the NFL.

Young could lead the Titans to a playoff appearance this year via wild card.

Young has without a doubt made an impact that has spoken measures.

The Titans are now a respectable football team that is taken seriously.

I expect Young to get 2,500 yards, 17 TD and 12 INT this season and lead the Titans to a 10-6 record and another Wild Card victory.

Titan’s fans hope Young can show the arm and the legs he showed as a Longhorn while he wins games.
