Ring of Honor (ROH) Canadian debut review.

First off i would like to say that thisshow was amazing! PPV caliber for sure. Best WRESTLING live event I've ever been to. Heres what happened:

-Opening match is Chris Hero with Larry Sweeney and Shane Hagadorn vs. Ruckus. First of all id like to say Ruckus high fived me! Sweeney was hilarious. Match was decent with Hero coming out on top. I give it ***

-Next was Delirious vs. the debut of Kenny Omega. Decent match. Kenny is good. He will be your typical x-division type wrestler, but is pretty good. Kenny got the win. I give it **1/2

-Sarah Del Ray vs. Jenifer Blake is next. Sarah has a new monster gimmick?? she has weird painted on eyebrows and sweeney has trained her to destroy everything?? None the less, it was a solid match with Sarah winning. After the match Dazee Haze did a run in. I give it **

-Erick Stevens vs. Go Shiozaki. This match was amazing. The crowd was really into it. It ends in a draw when the 15 minute time limit expires. This leads the crowd to chant "5 more minutes". Erick says he wants 5 more minutes as well. Sweeney says his client was not paid to go over 15 minutes and wont do it. This leads to...Lance Storm! Storm comes out and ofcourse starts with "if i could be serious for a minute" and goes on a rant about how wrestling isnt all about the money (shot at wwe maybe?;)). I give it ****

-Bryan Danielson vs. Claudio Castagnoli. I have to say this: the crowd went freakin nuts for Danielson. Huge dragon chant, best in the world chant everything. The whole match the crowd was chanting something for Danielson. Danielson wins in a great match. I give it ****1/2

intermission

-Back from intermission and Rhett Titus is in the ring cutting a promo. No one cares. Somehow Dazee, Delirious and Sweeney get involved blah blah blah.

-Next is Roderick Strong vs. Naomichi Marufuji. Good match. Marufuji and Strong were both over so mixxed reaction from the crowd(i was cheering for Marufuji). Marufuji wins. I give it ***1/2

Double main event time!

-Kevin Steen vs. Nigel McGuiness ROH title defense. AMAZING MATCH!! Steen was over like crazy due to the fact that he is canadian. Steen takes some great bumps and gets in some good moves. Nigel was alright, usual lariats(good lariats) and other good moves. Nigel retains in an amazing match! I give it ****1/2

-Age of the fall's Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Blackvs. Jay Briscoe and Austin Aries. No DQ. another good match. Near the begining Necro Butcher makes his way out. A chant of "we want mark" starts. And ofcourse Mark Briscoe makes his way out. Great match with great spots. They went in the crowd. Aries and Jacobs fought right near where i was sitting. In the middle of the match Mark was held back by someone and taken to the back. not sure what happened exactly hopefully hes not injured again. Jay and Aries pick up the victory. After the match AOTF beat on Jay and Aries. Jacobs wants Necro to remove Aries eye with a peice of table that broke earlier. Necro refuses and heads to the back as the show ends. I give it ***

Great great show. Definitly ordering the DVD when it comes out. Overall rating id give it a 9/10.
