Well I beg to differ considering that Dallas even though they're attempt to at least take the lead failed, the game still would not have been over had he made it and the game was certainly not over once the snap was botched, so what happened? let's take a look back at that game and see how it really happened
at the 1:53 mark Romo had completed his pass to Jason Witten for a gain of 6 yards setting up the field goal try on 4th and 1 @ the Seahawks 2 yard line
At 1:19 Dallas attempts the field goal where the ball is then fumbled and Romo recovers for no gain, Seattle then takes over on downs with 1:14 seconds left
Now the Seahawks have the ball 1st in 10 deep in they're own territory Alexendars first rush is a 20 yard scamper up the left side
the Seahawks now have it 1st and 10 at they're own 22 yard line and a minute five is left in the game
- B/R Ticket Guide
The Seahawks next rush is a loss for a yard 1:00 remains in the game and no signal for a time out from the sidelines
the clock continues to run and Seattle faces a long 2nd and 11 the rush to the right gains nothing
.55 seconds are left and the Seahawks are now facing 3rd down and 11 where they gain 8 yards
a delay of game penalty leaves the Cowboys with just .08 seconds left
After a 26 yard punt Dallas begins it's final drive with .07 seconds at the 50 and 2 short plays later the game is over
so what mistakes stand out to you in all of this? some of the ones I see are pretty obvious and one big one is missed use of both the time outs and the clock, if you had taking notice when Dallas finally did get the ball back with .07 seconds left they had allowed 47 seconds to run off the clock
Now go back to that 3rd down and 11 the Seahawks had where they gained 8 yards notice how the clock was continuing to run and had a full .55 seconds left and a time out there stops the clock with no less then .53 seconds left
The reason I emphasize this point is because at that point had the Cowboys stopped the clock instead of allowing it to run, they in turn had full use of both sidelines and weren't limited to trying to pick up large chunks of yards forcing the chance for a turnover that effectively ended the game
thus proving that in fact Tony Romo did not lose that game against the Seahawks like everyone thinks

No he didn't, and fact is everyone on Br that bashes Romo for being a pretty boy, chocker etc. would take him as their QB in a heart beat. How many NFC teams would not want Romo over there starter?
Maybe 5...
Phila (maybe)
NY
Saints
Seahawks
Packers (?)
Romo is an elite QB no matter how you slice it, he has started one and a half years and has been within one play of a playoff win both games...He put up better numbers in his first year as a starter than P.Manning,C.Palmer,Farve and T.Brady (even though he won the SB)

no one play can determine the outcome of the game. Dallas just lost, and the Romo fumble was just a big point in the game.
