Tonight's IMPACT! was like this past Monday's RAW: Just when we think we're getting the answers, they change the questions. After tonight, everyone will be left wondering if Sting is a coward or a genius.
Why, you ask? Here's why. Here's the IMPACT! Slamback.
Tonight's broadcast opens up with highlights from last week's confrontation between Samoa Joe and Booker T along with the mysterious baseball bat. The show goes live with the arrival of the TNA World Champion. Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash walk into the six sides of steel that have surrounded the ring. Joe comes out and wants to make his match at Hard Justice against Booker T in the six sides of steel.
Booker T comes out and decides that he wants to up the stakes by adding tables, ladders and chairs. He gives Samoa Joe till the end of the night to decide if he's in or out. As he walks away, JB is in the back talking to AJ Styles, Christian Cage and Rhino about tonight's main event. Cage makes it clear that after everything that's happened, this is personal.
First Bout: Consequences Creed wins the Fatal Four Way
Johnny Devine and Consequences Creed are fighting it out while Jimmy Rave and Eric Young are going for crowd approval. While Young and Devine fight outside, Jimmy has control of Consequences. Creed avoids an attack by Lance Rock and drops him with a DDT followed by a flight over the top on Rave and Devine.
Back inside, Creed gets his world rocked by Rave while Young jumps in and hits the EY Bomb. Devine hits the Devine Intervention on Young, but Creed recovers and rolls up Devine for the win. After the match, Devine, Rave and Rock try to punish Creed, but the Monster Abyss comes out and takes all three men down.
In the back, Kurt Angle and Team 3D are still guaranteeing that Sting will be there during their match tonight.
Back on IMPACT!, TNA takes a moment to give a video tribute to Kaz, who announced that he will be leaving TNA after tonight.
Intermission: Karen's Angle with Kaz
Karen Angle debuts her new talk show with Kaz as her guest. Kaz spends the time talking about the beginning of his career and going into why he's leaving TNA after all this time. The second part of the interview will be aired next week on IMPACT!
Second Bout: Matt Morgan defeats Kory Chavis
Chavis starts flapping his jaws towards a much taller Morgan. Morgan shows what he thinks of the loudmouth by throwing him around the ring. He then moves him under the ring ropes and in homage to The Undertaker, delivers a huge leg drop on Chavis followed by the Big Boot on the outside.
Chavis rakes his eyes in the hopes of getting control, but he only pisses off the big man. who hits axe kick on Chavis. Following the Big Splash, Morgan lands his new maneuver, the Hellavator, to pick up the win.
Back on TNA, Lauren interviews the Prince Justice Brotherhood, who are fighting over what their motto will be. Finally they come up with this: "We come in peace...they leave in pieces." Comments? Suggestions?
