Diva Deja-Vu: Why Tara Needs to STAY Retired

I'm guessing you've heard that Tara/Victoria/Lisa Marie Varon has decided to leave the ring once again.

I'm also guessing a lot of Peak Freaks out there are sad to see her retire, but I've got to ask them this: will it actually be that long until we see her wrestling again?

Based on her last retirement (I still don't understand why one person should have more than one retirement) and the buzz going around the IWC, a lot of fans are anticipating a return to WWE. But in my eyes, this will not benefit Lisa at all.
When Victoria left WWE, she left to a loss from Michelle McCool and got a speech posted on WWE.com.

Whilst this may have been a better send-off than Lita's at Survivor Series 2006, she did something I never expected of her by turning back on her word.

Sure, she competed at Wrestlemania, but I hope I'm not alone in saying that I found it insulting that she went to wrestle in TNA.

After getting a nice send-off, two Women's Championship reigns and the opportunity to compete in first, and only, time matches for the Divas, she went ahead and committed the ultimate betrayal.

Cue comments about WWE that were sure to rub the 'E in the wrong way. For example: "I came to be No. 1 in the No. 1 company."
Yes, a lot of WWE Superstars who have had good success in WWE have jumped ship, but I find that more insulting to the WWE fans who helped build the success of the likes of Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson, RVD, and Jeff Hardy just to name a few.

Tara falls into this unfortunate group, who despite getting all the chances in the world, decides to slag off WWE as if they were treated on the same level as WWE Sign Guy. Either they are in an alternate reality or WWE has shady business politics.
I am not discrediting Tara's work. Like many, I think she is a great women's wrestler and has had some of the best women's matches I have ever seen in my 10 years of being an avid WWE fan.

I just don't like how she left WWE back in 2009, in the sense that she went to TNA for good matches and when she gets them, pay discrepancies arise and she leaves!

One quote that I loved (and why I hugely respect him) was when Kurt Angle said he'd wrestle for free as long as he has the best matches possible.

Why can't that sentiment be shared with Tara?
It's not like Lisa will return to WWE and get the matches she wants at the price she wants. If she does return, she'll come back to the same condition of the Divas division as when she left.

Don't want to be seen as a joke? WWE is not the place. New stars such as Eve, Layla and Maryse are emerging, and the Black Widow won't get preferential treatment because she's a veteran in the ring.

I've said this countless times on boards: WWE are in their Youth Movement Phase, and in my honest opinion, that means less Victoria vs. Beth, more Eve vs. Maryse.

Therefore, it is most beneficial to her if she stays away from the squared circle for a while.
