ECW Extreme Hangover: Opportunity Answered
After a shocking turn of events at The Great American Bash, the show that many believe is the only sane one left on WWE Programming right now hit the airwaves as ECW came from its birthplace of Philadelphia.
Tonight's show opens with GM Teddy Long presenting the new and improved ECW Championship to Mark Henry. A gleaming Henry happily accepts his new prize, and his buddy Tony Atlas has no problem boasting about the "victory" over Tommy Dreamer at the Bash.
With that, Colin Delaney makes his way down to explain why he screwed his friend on Sunday night.

Delaney explains that he was tired of being considered a laughingstock, but before he can enjoy the celebration with Atlas and Henry, Teddy Long informs everyone that not only will he be facing Dreamer tonight, he will be facing him...NOW!
First Bout: Tommy Dreamer Defeats Colin Delaney
As the bell rings, Dreamer brings Colin back in by his hair and brutalizes him right off the start. Colin uses a dropkick to gain brief control but gets dropped by a set of clotheslines.
After setting him up in the Tree of Woe and hitting the dropkick, Tommy drops him with a Pumphandle Slam followed by the Dreamer DDT for the win.
In the back, the former champs are debating who will pick up the victory tonight...only reversed.
Back on ECW, Chavo and Bam Neely join Tazz and Adamle at the table.
Second Bout: Evan Bourne Defeats James Curtis
Bourne shows his technical side with an armbar on Curtis. Bourne then counters a snapmare into a standing dropkick and hurracanrana. In the corner, Curtis counters into a mat slam and gains control with a back suplex.
Curtis applies a modified camel clutch followed by a neck lock, but Bourne counters a back suplex into a series of dropkicks and hurracanrana. Up top, he lands the Bourne Identity to pick up the win, and in the process escapes a potential ambush from Chavo and Bam.
In the back, Finlay is talking to Hornswoggle about tonight's main event.
Back on ECW, Ricky Ortiz is doing some marketing work when he finds out that he'll have his next match next week. Also Matt Hardy is making his case for a title match at Summerslam.
Main Event: Matt Hardy Wins the Fatal Four-Way Match
Miz goes for the quick pin on his partner to start the match. After the former champs are tossed, Matt and Finlay exchange blows until John Morrison yanks Hardy off the apron. All four men are in a slugfest as both Finlay and Hardy drop elbows on The Dirt Sheet.
Back on ECW, the tag champs have taken over the match. Finlay has managed to gain an advantage, but like the whole match, one move changes everything as all four men get near falls on each other. While Miz has Hardy, Finlay locks an armbar on Morrison. Finlay tries a cover on both Miz and Matt following a double clothesline.
On the outside, Finlay sends Morrison out to the crowd, but thanks to a set of double teams, The Dirt Sheet manages to take him out of the equation for a bit. Following a difference of opinion, Matt takes advantage and drops Morrison with the Side Effect.
Finlay recovers long enough to drop a takedown and missile dropkick on Miz. Hardy nails the turnbuckle clothesline and bulldog on the former tag champs. After multiple near falls, Finlay uses a shillelagh to take out Miz, but Morrison takes him out with a kick to the head.
But as Morrison springboards off the ropes, Hardy kicks him in the gut and drops him with the Twist of Fate to pick up the win and the shot at Mark Henry's ECW Championship at Summerslam. Hardy exchanges glares with Henry and Atlas as ECW goes off the air.
