Hey Guys,

I've got some great news heading into this week.

Yeah, I know: It's now less than 40 days 'til kickoff—but there is some even better news.

SEC MEDIA DAYS ARE THIS WEEK!!!!!

That's right—this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, all twelve coaches will converge on my hometown of Hoover, AL to speak on all things SEC football and the 2008 season.

Head coach Nick Saban will be speaking on Thursday, so expect something on what he had to say after his turn at the podium.

Well, back to the purpose of this post: the weekly message board.

Keeping with the month's theme, we are still talking Alabama Football history.

We've already touched on some of the best games, so now it's time to focus on the players.

This week's topic is: Who is the best offensive player in Alabama football history?

The pick can come from any team and any position, but we want to know why they are the best at what they did for the Crimson Tide.

You can base this on records, or on performance on the field.

As always, you can leave your comments below or write your own article on the best that Alabama's offense has had to offer.

That's all for this week guys.

Thanks and Roll Tide,

Nic
