With weather in the area throughout the day, and showers on and off drivers were on track Thursday. Tony Kanaan was the fastest in Indy 500 practice in the #11 7-Eleven car for Andretti Autosport setting a lap at 39.68 at 226.775 mph around the Indy oval. Tony Kanaan has run well at the 500 before but has never won it, will lady luck be on his side this May?

Paul Tracy in the KV Racing Technology #15 Geico Auto Insurance car was second in practice. Hideki Mutoh who has had the Newman/Haas car up front in practice most of the week was third on Thursday.

Fast Friday is tomorrow as drivers prepare for Saturday and Pole Day at the Brickyard. Bump Day is Sunday, and with the new qualifying format and alot of money at stake drivers will put out all stops to win the pole and if your not in on Saturday, you only have Sunday to make the 33 car field for this years 94th Indianapolis 500.
