Catcher: Russell Martin (LAD)
With Napoli's injury, Mathis has had to step in for the Angels. Russell Martin is better than both of the Angels catchers. Martin is batting .095 higher than Mathis, 21 more RBI, and 4 more HR. Martin can also run the bases better and plays defense better.

First Base: James Loney (LAD)
Loney leads Kotchman in hits (103 v. 95), RBI (51 v. 45), average (.291 v. .284), OBP (.351 v. .326), and slugging (.452 v. .430). Loney has been a key component of the Dodger offense. Defense goes to Kotchman, though.

Second Base: Howie Kendrick (LAA)
Jeff Kent may have higher power numbers in RBI and HR, but that's only because he's played many more games. Kendrick is finally beginning to step up and leads Kent in batting average (.319 v. .250), OBP (.338 v. .306), and slugging (.471 v. .403). Kendrick has played in 29 less games and ONLY has 11 less hits than Kent. Kendrick also plays better defense and runs better.

Shortstop: Maicer Izturis (LAA)
This is clearly the weakest position in the city of Los Angeles. The Dodgers desperately need Rafael Furcal back, having boggled with Luis Maza, Angel Berroa, Chin-lung Hu, and even Nomar Garciaparra. Maicer leads the city with a .707 OPS, 38 hits, and 32 RBI. He also plays exceptional defense.

Third Base: Chone Figgins (LAA)
This one barely goes to Figgins. DeWitt has performed well with the Dodgers. Figgins gets the nod because he has played 29 less games, but ONLY has 9 less hits. He has 13 more stolen bases, batting .273 (compared to .262). Figgins is also a better defensive player.

Outfield: Vladimir Guerrero (LAA)
Vlad leads Los Angeles outfielders with a .288 average, .833 OPS, and 15 HR. He also has 51 RBI and 96 hits. Vlad can also play good defense (1 error) with a rocket arm.

Outfield: Matt Kemp (LAD)
Kemp leads Los Angeles outfielders with 52 RBI, 22 stolen bases, and 98 hits. He also has a .285 average and 10 HR. Kemp also plays good defense (2 error) and has 9 outfield assists.

Outfield: Andre Ethier (LAD)
Ethier just barely edges out Torii Hunter. He has 11 HR, 42 RBI, .284 average (compared to Hunter's .270), and .814 OPS (compared to Hunter's .786). Both play exceptional defense (Ethier has 1 error and 5 outfield assists).

Starting Pitchers:
John Lackey (LAA) has a 2.58 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 7-2 record.
Joe Saunders (LAA) has a 12-5 record, 1.13 WHIP, and 3.07 ERA.
Ervin Santana (LAA) has 122 strikeouts, .229 BBA, 1.12 WHIP, and 11-3 record.
Chad Billingsley (LAD) has a 3.25 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 128 strikeouts.

Relief Pitchers:
Jose Arredondo (LAA) has a 1.13 ERA, 0.79 WHIP, and .146 BAA.
Joe Beimel (LAD) has a 1.57 ERA, 1.47 WHIP, and .270 BAA.
Hong-Chih Kuo (LAD) has a 1.63 ERA, 67 strikeouts, 0.96 WHIP, and .195 BAA.
Corey Wade (LAD) has 2.50 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and .222 BAA.

Closer: Francisco Rodriguez (LAA)
Saito is now injured, or else Saito would've gotten the nod with better stats. K-Rod has 41 strikeouts, 2.36 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and .182 BAA.
