In honor of all the hard work put in by the great pro wrestling writers, and for those fans who didn’t get a chance to watch any of the programming this week, I’ve decided to start yet another new segment on the BR.

Every week, I take a look back at the major events of every show and bring to you the fans a condensed look at the highs and lows of the week.

So with that said, let’s get started with The Week That Was.

RAW

This past Monday’s RAW started with a firm but fair warning from Shane and Stephanie McMahon. Both urged the RAW superstars and members of the staff to come together in unity or there would be hell to pay. Their speech concluded with “We’ll be watching.”

As the show went live, it seemed that their message went in one ear and out the other as Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho were beating the holy hell out of each other.

On top of all that, no one was able to contain the Big Red Machine who was becoming the Monster of Old. After his match with CM Punk, Kane was about to stomp a chair on Punk’s throat until Batista came in and took out both men.

The funniest moment of the evening came when Santino Marella issued an open challenge to anyone in the back. The challenge was accepted and won by The Glamazon Beth Phoenix in an obvious message to Natalya on SmackDown!

But the biggest sign of disrespect in the McMahons' eyes has to be the action of JBL at the end of RAW.

The Longhorn Jackass decided to cross the line set by the McMahon siblings as he rendered John Cena unconscious and attempted to decapitate him with a car. It’s clear that the superstars of RAW are determined to continue this anarchy until the McMahons restore order. Expect more shockers next Monday as it is known that one if not all of the McMahons will be on RAW.

ECW

The Land of Extreme had its own taste of anarchy, as Mark Henry got “panhandled” by Tommy Dreamer at the beginning of the broadcast.

Following this incident, Teddy Long gave Dreamer the night off because he didn’t want his show to turn into RAW. So Henry decided to punish Colin Delaney for Dreamer’s assault.

The biggest moment of the night came during the main event as everyone saw one more reunion of Team Extreme (Matt & Jeff Hardy) to face the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Dirt Sheet.

This match lived up to the hype as all four men left it all in the ring. In the end, the boys from Cameron, N.C., proved that they were the best tag team as they defeated the champs and set off a chain of events that will culminate this Sunday at the Bash.

TNA IMPACT!

IMPACT! brought out the best and the worst in its superstars. Booker T and Samoa Joe opened the night still feeling the effects of their match at Victory Road. Jim Cornette came out and made it clear that Joe is the Champion, but they will have a rematch at Hard Justice.
