WWE Champion John Cena launched a Twitter page this week and has already started responding to criticism over his polarizing character and addresses WWE'S current direction with the Pg product

"Guys, I am sorry to disappoint but what u see on TV is what u get. That's pretty close to me in real life. I'm sorry if u think I'm watered down, I've been called worse," Cena said.

Cena also responded to queries on whether he's going to bring back his rapping gimmick from years ago. He said the character doesn't fit in today's product and it would be a poor attempt to re-create what worked before.

"Guys, I really appreciate the respect for the freestyle. It would have no home in today's environment," he said. "It would be a weak, watered down, rehash of something that was very fun to be a part of while it lasted. I still freestyle all the time, it just wouldn't be right for me right now, I really like the place where I am, and where WWE is."

Well there it is folks John Cena will not be going back to the rap gimmick that made him so popular in the first place. You fans who say that this PG product isn't ruining the WWE'S overall product better think again because Cena can't even do a rap gimmick without having it watered down. So many of you who were hoping for a change in Cena's character that you all hate to love are not going to get that. let's face it untill the WWE gets some serious competition they are going to continue to give us these stale programs and characters so lets hope that TNA pull the finger out and give us a reason to watch.
