Joe O'Neill is a featured writer on this site. And hence, in my opinion, should be a role model for other contributors.

Rising above petty disputes, hatred, and jingoism.

He frequently writes, quite bizarre, hate filled spews about Floyd Mayweather. He's obviously smart enough to keep them topical, but some of the comparisons, and comments he makes, are quite obviously designed to be inflammatory.

I quote in recent weeks:

1: Claiming Joe Calzaghe has a better resume than Floyd Mayweather
2: Claiming he doesn't think Mayweather has fought one single quality opponent
3: Claiming Pacquiao's victory over Joshua Clottey was better than Mayweather's big night with Mosely.
4: Criticising Mayweather for not facing Bernard Hopkins..................

I could go on. As I've said on his board, he either knows next to nothing about boxing, or he's playing games.

Imagine my surprise when I read one of his bizarre, inflammatory articles where he makes a sly comment to a chum, who was questioning some of his odd claims:

"I only write these articles to piss off Mayweather fans".

If you look at his article history of the last month, in which he has seemingly devoted to writing inflammatory, annoying, articles about Floyd Mayweather, all now becomes clear.

He writes stupid, childish, ridiculous articles about Mayweather, making frankly startling claims about the fighter, because..........

He personally dislikes Floyd Mayweather fans, and enjoys annoying them.

My complaint is simple. I find it hard enough to go on boxing boards anyway. I find them far too childish, far too argumentative, and far too dominated by petty Mayweather/Pacquiao fan arguments.

Why on earth is a featured writer on this web site, in his own words, writing articles designed to inflame this problem, for his own personal enjoyment?

With the vast majority of the boxing community reasoned, educated, fight fans, who appreciate the skills of Floyd Mayweather as much as they do Manny Pacquiao. And with most of them wanting to go on to boxing sites, to discuss these things in an adult manner.

Why are featured writers on this site writing purposefully inflammatory articles, to incite hate filled responses, for their own enjoyment?

What hope do we have of creating an adult, respected, boxing community on here, with the featured writers doing their best to create a childish, hating, anger filled, slanging match between Pacquiao and Mayweather fans?

I'd also appreciate a response from the community leader on this subject.
