Anquan Boldin 2010 Fantasy Football Prediction
Arizona finally pulled the trigger on an Anquan Boldin trade. The trade became a lot easier when Steve Breaston and Early Doucet stepped up in Boldinโs absence the last couple weeks of the regular season and playoffs. Anquan Boldin will become the number one receiver in Baltimore, but he will move from aggressive passing team to a passive rushing team that prioritizes ball control and strong defense. Letโs investigate the shift in Boldinโs fantasy value.
Assumptions:
- Anquan Boldin will be the teamโs number one receiver
- Anquan Boldin will be healthy throughout the regular season

Click into the picture above to see where Boldin is scoring his points. Boldin should make a solid addition to any fantasy team. He has a much better chance of endzone jump ball opportunities with the Ravens, as he no longer has to complete with Larry Fitzgerald 2010 Fantasy Projection" target="_blank">Larry Fitzgerald in the redzone.
The Verdict: Anquan Boldin is a solid second receiver in any standard scoring fantasy league. My personal preference would be to fill up the runningback slots before drafting a second receiver, but Boldin will start getting looks toward the end of the sixth round. That may just be about the right price for Boldin, as the development of Joe Flacco could result in a breakout year for the veteran wide receiver.
