For the past several weeks, the sports news has focused on one thing: Farve's possible return to the NFL.

The Packers seem quite hesitant to re-accept him as a starter for the team, which seems quite odd since he has helped the franchise over the past 16 years.

One remembers his emotional speech during the end of the previous NFL season.

With such emotion, one could have thought, was it really was No. 4's last season?

However, that does not seem to be the case.

One can say that Aaron Rodgers deserves his time, which is true.

Despite his departure, if Favre’s desire to stay for just an extra year, the Packers should allow him to.

Michael Jordan retired a couple of times and the Chicago Bulls still accepted him.

It should be the same in this current situation.

His last season proved that Brett still has it in him.

What impresses me about Favre is his love for the game.

It might sound cliché, but honestly, who plays as enthusiastic as him?

He holds the record for the most consecutive starts by any NFL player; his unique skill and awareness; presence will continue to help the Packers if he becomes the stating quarterback.
