You know, when Easy E(Eric Bischoff) announced he was going to introduce a ranking system to TNA, I thought, would a similar system help WWE. The best way of explaining this is to simply show you:

Please note that this is all hypothetical.

WWE Title Ranking System:

Champion - John Cena

1. Batista

2. HHH

3. Orton

4. Sheamus

5. Christian

At the moment, Batista is challenging Cena. Now, if Batista were to win, he would be the champ and Cena would be ranked number five. However, if Batista lost, he would go to the back of the line and everybody else would move up one place.

Say Cena wins. So, while HHH would feud with Cena(with HHH eventually winning), you would have the other four feud with each other.

Orton with Sheamus and Batista with Christian. You would receive three points for every win you get over an opponent and lose one for every loss.

So, if Christian faced Batista five times, winning three and losing two and if Orton faced Sheamus five times, winning four and losing one, heres how things would stand:

*Any score below zero, shall be deemed zero.*

Christan: 3 wins = 9 points and 2 losses = -2. Christian's total= 7 points

Batista : 2 wins = 6 points and 3 losses = -3.  Batista's total = 3 points

Orton :  4 wins = 12 points and one loss = -1.  Ortons total = 11 points

Sheamus : 1 win = 3 points and 4 losses = -4.   Sheamus's total = 0 points

Champion - HHH

1. Randy Orton with 11pts

2. Christian with 7pts

3. Batista with 3pts

4. Sheamus with 0pts

5. Cena with 0pts

Therefore, the number one contender would be Orton and the feuds start again.

I know this looks really complicated but it is similar to any sports league. So, would a system like this benefit WWE or would it just be pointless, confusing and a waste of time?
