Fun With Wikipedia: Part One, MLB and NFL
Once in a while you'll see something priceless scroll by on the ESPN bottom line, often related to Ryan Leaf or Jayson Williams. You'll laugh, then pretty much forget about it. Wikipedia doesn't forget. Here's some good, somewhat obscure off-the-field incidents by athletes who peaked in popularity/talent mostly in the late '90s. I included the athlete and a golden quote or two from their Wikipedia page, I encourage clicking on the names for the link to their pages...where there's smoke, there's fire. I'm just doing this during a class so let me know who I left out or have yet to stumble across.
