Evidently The Referees missed the meeting as to how many players are allowed on the ice at any given as SEVEN Pittsburgh Players were allowed for over 20 seconds. Go ahead count 24 seconds.  It's not a blink of an eye  it's a relatively long time.  And yet ALLOWED BY THE REFEREES !!!!!!!!!

Referee McClure, who obviously apprenticed under the aforementioned Brad Watson denies the redwings a GOAL...again under the nebulous 'intent to blow the whistle'

NOW can you see a pattern?  I know I can.  Oh and don't give me the tired line "refs are human" ; I will concede that.  I will also concede that being human means also the capability of being corrupt.  IF the point spread was Phoenix winning by two, Referee McClure JUST INSURED a windfall for somebody. Perhaps with an enrichment to his own bank account.

As you can see the above Pattern then ADD a bum call in November '09 once a week; and you have more than enough reason for a CRIMINAL investigation of the NHL in general AND the Zebras in particular

An Official of the NHL even suspected of gambling OR aiding and abetting gamblers, should get the 'Pete Rose treatment" with a LIFETIME Ban from Hockey.

Personally that would be letting them off too easy. I think corrupt officials should be tied to a post and given 30 lashes with a cat-o-nine-tails. Such 'educational reenforcement' should be broadcast on Versus or Spike as a warning to other Zebras
