NBA Playoffs Cavs Vs Bulls: Bulls Have No Shot at the Upset
East Playoff Preview: Series and Game One Prediction
#1 Cleveland Cavaliers Vs #8 Chicago Bulls
Current Line for Game 1: Cleveland -11 /191
Cavs: The Cavaliers were the best team in the East and arguably the best team in the league this year. Lebron James is coasting to another most valuable player award and is focused on winning his first title in the NBA. The Cavs spent the off-season and the trading deadline getting Lebron help and it has paid off. The late addition of Antawn Jamison has made up for the injury to Shaq OāNeal and the Cavs looked poised for a run to the Championship.
Bulls: The Bulls had to scrape to get into the playoffs as they locked down the 8th spot in the last game of the regular season with a win over the Bobcats. Recent reports of in fighting between Jim Paxson and head coach Vinny Del Negro have yet to distract this team, but everything is amplified in the playoffs. The Bulls are young and seem to be able to step it up when they need to. Last year they had a great run in the playoffs but that was mainly due to Ben Gordon who now plays in Detroit. It will be interesting to see how Derrick Rose and the Bulls will respond in the playoffs.
Series and Game One Prediction:
Series: As much as I like to root for the underdog and to see upsets in most sporting events the Cavs will win this series. Bet Jamaica has the series odds listed at -800 rightfully high, but letās face it, the Cavs will win. Even the diehard Bulls fan would not even lay any cheddar that the Bulls can pull the monumental upset.
Game One: Bet Jamaica has the Cavs as 11 point favorites for game one against the Bulls. While I do think that the Cavs win the series that doesnāt mean the Bulls canāt keep it close. The Bulls have been in playoff mode for the last few weeks and that run included a win over the Cavs (without Lebron) but that should still get this team in the right mindset to play. The Cavs have been resting players and it may take them a half of basketball to get going and that should give the Bulls enough time to make this a game.
