Joey Logano Wins Pole For O'Reilly 300 Nationwide Race @ Texas
Joey Logano in his Gamestop #20 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing won the pole Friday afternoon in qualifying for Saturday's O'Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway. Logano ran a 29.08 @ 185.663 mph to take the pole ahead of Clint Bowyer in the #21 Zaxbys Chevrolet for RCR. Kyle Busch will lineup third and is looking for five wins in a row in the nationwide race at Texas. Carl Edwards and Ricky Stenhouse Jr round out the top 5 very good qualifying run for Stenhouse he also ran very well in practice hopefully that team can turn the season around at Texas, one that has been bad so far. Greg Biffle who had a broken header after practice went out late in the qualifying line and spun off turn 4, he starts in the back for Saturday's race and will try to make his way to the front at Texas. The O'Reilly 300 can be seen on Saturday at 3pm with Countdown To Green from Texas Motor Speedway followed by the race at 3:30pm eastern on ESPN2. Starting Lineup listed below.
