Seven Days Left: Seven Round Mock Draft

One week til our favorite NFL Holiday not called the Super Bowl and Opening Weekend. This is the balanced draft that the Packers need and want. 

23.)  Sergio Kindle - OLB - Texas

Find me a Packer fan who wouldnt love this pick. Imagine a guy like Kindle and Clay Matthews opposite each other in our 3-4 defense. We have a bohemoth DL and add some lightning fast pash-rushers for OLB and we have a defense that can last us a few Super Bowl titles.

56.)   Jared Veldheer - OT -  Hillsdale College

We must get a OT in this draft (and the next few drafts). We will seriously hinder our future without looking for a few OL next week. We as Packer fans know free agency is non-existant to us, so why bother thinking the Packers will do anything. We MUST solidify our line this year. Veldheer is a mountain to get around and with proper coaching could be a huge asset to our passing game, especially going up against Jared Allen, Julius Peppers, and Kyle Vanden Bosch.

86.) Mardy Gilyard - WR - Cinncinnati

Gilyard would be a perfect fit for us. He is talented enough to possibly be our #3 WR, but we would use him mainly at Kick Returner. 

122.)   Brandon Carter - OG - Texas Tech

This guy is one I personally would love. He is a monster and plays with a true mean streak.

154.) Kavell Connor - OLB - Clemson

He is the type of LB that I could see the Packers drafting late because of his diversity. He isn't a freak athlete, nor will he be an incredible player in pass coverage, but he would give us depth at pretty much every LB position. 

169.) Mike Kafka - QB - Northwestern

Kafka is not a huge player, but he is someone I could see the Packers drafting for development into another backup especially if Flynn leaves for free agency next year.

193.) Quentin Scott - S - Northern Iowa

All I have so say is he is 6-4 and weighs 224 lbs. AS A SAFETY! And on top of that He ran a 40 yard dash in 4.40. Need I say more? Taylor Mays is a physical freak, but imagine getting Kindle in the first round and a clone of Mays in the sixth round.

230.)  Matt Dodge - P - East Carolina

Why not have three Punters in camp? We need all the help we can get and either him or Mesko would be an improvement over two guys who may or may not deserve a roster spot in the fall.

One week left and this will be completely useless, but its nice to see a nice balanced draft that meets a lot of needs.
