What's Next For The UFC's Anderson Silva?

As usual I've waited prudently for everyone to weigh in so that I may seem well informed, when in fact, by the time I first tickle the keys, everyone else has tired of the subject, ergo I shall try to keep it brief. I have before, and will continue to maintain that the real problem with, " The Spider," isn't the smack talk, but the lack of a suitable opponent. We certainly didn't witness these shenanigans in his fight against Hendo, nor Franklin, either time, nor for that matter even with Griffin who said much more than , and with a cockier smirk than did Maia. Lutter didn't even have enough respect for the fight or the fighter to make weight for their match. and Silva didn't taunt him. I think the UFC would be better served to cancel all together, than scramble to find an ill suited replacement fighter.

Be that as it may, what I find truly amazing and alarming is the edict from Dub, ( Dana White), who threatened to drop the champ if he wouldn't, "play well with others."  Is there such a precedent anywhere, in any of the combat sports? We're not talking about Iron Mike biting off someone's ear, or even fighting dirty. He did not even break any rules that I know of. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Did I like the way he fought? No. So what?

For those of us with short memories, this is the organization whose contract stipulates that all of it's fighters sign away their life long rights to their own likenesses, and if you don't hop to, (and damn quick as well) Dub will fire you. Just ask Jon Fitch. The Fertitas called off Dub the Doberman over the Finch, "misunderstanding," and I'm sure they would with Silva as well. There's just too much money to be made with him. Even taking into consideration his bouts of poor sportsmanship, he is still with very little wiggle room for debate the worlds foremost pound for pound best MMA fighter.

Sonnen could say Silva is a sissy who wears pink knickers, (not likely, Sonnen is American and Republican, he'd never utter that word) and it wouldn't make one whit of difference in the cage as far as taunting is concerned. After the complete annihlation Sonnen put on Marquardt in his last fight Yes Sonnen could get whupped,, but no, not showboated. My concern is what action will bring about the threat of summary dismissal next?
