Lakers, Kobe, Bynum, Playoffs!

Whoo! With the season flying by so quickly and the playoffs just around the corner, it doesn't get any better than this! It just seemed like yesterday when we were all on Figueroa celebrating. Well now it's time to do it all over again! L.A. has blown the last couple games, but this isn't anything new. L.A. has been there done that. They know where they stand in the Western Conference. They have to win these next 2 games and hope Orlando loses tomorrow so L.A. can have home court if they face Orlando in the Finals.

The Lakers first opponent for the 1st round of the playoffs was announced yesterday and they are facing Oklahoma City Thunder. OKC is a very young and inexperienced team but this isn't going to be no cake walk for L.A. They have to come out and play at their potential. I expect to see a new and approved L.A. team come Sunday.

As for Kobe's injury status he will play the 1st game of the playoffs so no worries there. As for Andrew Bynum his status has improved, and he plans on returning the 1st playoff game as well. The whole Laker crew has to be healthy heading into the post-season in order to repeat. It's going to be a wild, wild, west. Who will step up? Who can come through in the clutch, because we all know There Can Only Be One!

Lakers finish up there 2 regular season games today vs. Kings, and tomorrow @ Clippers.
