My Town Rocks: Gatlinburg, Tennessee

My town is Gatlinburg, Tennessee

We live right next to a town in North Carolina called Cherokee

Right were it slopes off into the banks of the Oconaluftee

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is right next to us

When you come to Tennessee, our town is a must

Jesus likes us so much the ground is sprinkled with angel dust

I love the Great Smoky Mountains so much I want to shout

The same Smoky Mountains the Vols sing about

The same Smoky Mountains that fills Dawgs players with doubt

Oh how I love my Tennessee

We sip on Richard Hennessy

We are in a more simple time like Robert E. Lee

To the west there's the Tennessee River in the Tennessee Valley

I'd much rather be here than Maui

Because Tennessee runs America like Henry Berry Lowrie

If you ever head out west, don't worry you won't be glum

Lies America's most beautiful place, Neyland Stadium

Rockin' and a rollin' that's where the Vols get their business done

We crushed the Bears

Man, all those people made them scared

We made Nate Longshore look mentally impaired

We don't only crush the Tide,

We beat their brains out until they lose their pride

By the time the game's over, anybody who comes into Neyland wants to hide

If you want win and you come into the County of Knox

Our runningbacks are so good you better put nine in the box

Ellis Johnson better take that advise if you ever wanna win Gamecocks

When we head down to the Bayou man we're gonna win

All those LSU gentlemen want to tailgate and act like we're kin

But when the lights come on we'll backstab you faster than Nick Saban

And when we go to Nashville, the Commodores will be filled with doubt

Well we've lost one time in twenty four years so they know what we're about

We'll probably leave by half-time because it'll be another rout

When December the Sixth rolls around you know where you'll find me

Where else would I be?

In Atlanta, Georgia sitting next to Glen Dorsey

We'll sing Rocky Top so many times it will fill faces with grins

We have so many great players, we should have ten Heismans
